Fred Wellman is a combat veteran of the U.S. Army, a highly sought-after Democratic political consultant, and a compelling public speaker. He hosts ‘On Democracy with FPWellman’ on MeidasTouch and the ‘On Democracy Channel,’ and ‘Too Late To Cancel.’ A West Point graduate, Fred served 22 years in the U.S. Army, including four combat tours as a helicopter pilot, operations officer, and spokesman, notably for Generals David Petraeus and Martin Dempsey.
After retiring, he founded ScoutComms, a leading PR firm for veteran and military family issues. During the COVID-19 pandemic, he volunteered to manage a 250-bed field hospital in NYC. Fred then became a Senior Advisor and Executive Director for The Lincoln Project, where his work significantly reduced military and veteran votes for Donald Trump. He recently served as Senior Advisor to Eugene Vindman’s successful congressional campaign and is the National Chairman of Forgotten Democrats.
